Announcing the Least Weasel Chapbook Series

The Least Weasel series was launched in 2011 as a subsidiary of Propolis Press. Designed to be both affordable & in keeping with the aesthetic established by Propolis. I am interested in poetry that explores the outer edges of language usage -- poetry that acknowledges its substance (& perhaps also its substrate) -- and motivated by a desire to promote this poetry through the vehicle of good design (& letterpress)!

The first Least Weasel chapbook series with poetry by Joanna Fuhrman, Christopher Funkhouser, Brenda Iijima, Erica Kaufman, Jane Rice, and Christina Strong.

The second series features the poetry of Susan Landers, Jenn McCreary, Jennifer Moxley, Kyle Schlesinger, Elizabeth Treadwell, and Mark Weiss.

Covers were printed letterpress from polymer plates by Karen Pava Randall at Wild Carrot Letterpress (Hadley, Mass) in an edition of 250. The text pages were designed by Karen Randall and printed by Collective Copies in Amherst, Mass. Covers were designed (unless otherwise noted) by KPR, who also hand-bound the chaps.
